Grilled Fish Steaks

This fish, this fish…It’s criminal. (Faith Hill, anybody?)

Seriously though, people. This is one of my absolute favorite meals. It’s light, it’s fresh, it’s packed with protein and loaded with flavor.

Grilled Fish Steaks

Serves 2, 363 Calories

Ingredients:

1 clove garlic, minced
6 Tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
2 – 6 oz. halibut filets

Directions:

In glass dish or ziploc bag, combine all ingredients except fish to make marinade.  Place fish in marinade and refrigerate one hour turning occasionally.

Grill fish in grill basket for 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes with a fork.

You probably already know this, but grilling is an excellent cooking option when you are invested in a healthy lifestyle. It not only adds a rich flavor to your dish that you wouldn’t get otherwise, but it allows any fat that is present to drip off. Plus, grilling is super fun and cool and you can dazzle everyone with your incredible fish grilling skills.

If you don’t have a grill, invite yourself over to your friend’s house and use their grill. Go to the park and use a community grill. Fashion your own grill out of a shopping cart over a fire. I don’t care. Find a grill, and use it to make these absolutely amazing fish steaks.
